A bench warrant and an arrest warrant may differ in how they are issued; however, the result is the same – – they both result in the suspect’s arrest. A judge issues a bench warrant for the failure to appear in court or the failure to pay a fine, whereas an arrest warrant is issued for a crime. In either case, the person named in the warrant should take the matter very seriously. If you believe that you may have an active warrant pending in Delta County, you can perform a warrant search to confirm your suspicions.
